Psychology Events

Ad-Venture
Rules
An event where Shark-Tank enthusiasts take part in their very own 'simulation' of the experience to use their persuasion skills and attributes, but there's a catch to it, the participants will be given a random product. The main objective of this event is that participants have to come up with unique, creative methods to sell their product to a fictitious audience, which will be decided at the time of the event.

Blackout Poetry
Rules
"Between the lines, you'll find your voice"
The aim is to create a piece of poetry from an existing
written work by colouring over the words you don't need.
Written prose will be provided to participants from which
they will blackout words in such a way that the words left
form a poem.

Gloves Do(n't) Fit
Rules
"We believe you can defeat everyone in an argument, but
can you defeat yourself?"
Gloves Do(n’t) Fit is a turncoat event that makes people
brainstorm ideas to battle themselves rather than an
external participant. The contest would begin with the
participant being assigned a criminal from the past for
whom they will be advocating and at the sound of the
buzzer will have to change sides and catch themselves in
the trap they laid out.

How I Met Your Killer?
Rules
"Killers tell a clear story with a forked tongue"
An idiosyncratic event in which the participants are
required to make plausible theories on who they think
would be the killer in a murder mystery scene provided to
them.

Paramýthia: Unpopular Perspectives
Rules
Humans aren't simply right or wrong; actions aren't simply black or white; the lines blur between good and evil. In this perspective-taking event, quintessentially representing psychology, participants will be assigned a fairy tale, well-known literature, or a movie plot which they will have to rewrite from the perspective of a character other than the protagonist.

Vogue for a Cause
Rules
"The Devil wears Prada, what about you?"
“Vogue for a cause” is a creative challenge for fashion
enthusiasts to use their design skills to express various
themes related to social issues and mental health stigma
through designing clothing and mood boards.
