General Rules and Regulations

Magnovite will be conducted offline at CHRIST (Deemed-to-be University), Kengeri Campus on March 2nd & 3rd, 2023. The fest is open to Undergraduate & Postgraduate students of all disciplines. The fest is a national inter-collegiate competition wherein no CHRIST (Deemed-to-be University) will be participating. The participants should be dressed in complete western formal attire.

All participants are required to carry their respective College ID cards and Valid ID Proof. Participants have to report to the assigned venue at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the event. If you have registered for more than one event, please make sure the event timings do not overlap. Multiple teams from the same university are allowed to participate in the fest.

Unethical practices such as plagiarism, vulgarity, obscenity and violence of any kind will lead to immediate disqualification. Please do not carry hazardous and dangerous articles to the venue. Attempting to use or sell narcotics, drugs, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, alcohol, nicotine delivery devices(such as “vapes”, etc.), or addictive items of any sort is prohibited. Participants must follow all COVID-19 protocols and campus regulations strictly. Registrations will open on 2nd February, 2023. The last date to register is 1st March, 2023.

Online registrations in accordance with the above-mentioned deadlines can be done via the registration link provided in the mail or at magnovite.christuniversity.in. Registration fees must only be paid through the South Indian Bank Portal link available on the registration form. The participants can register individually or as a contingent. The individual registration fees are mentioned with each event. The following are the contingents with their registration fees:

The registration fee will not be refunded. The Overall Championship will be awarded to the college with the most points at the end of the fest. The points will be awarded according to the following criteria:

1. PARTICIPATION:

Flagship Events:
3 points per team for individual events 5 points per team for duet/group events

Other Events:
1 point per team for individual events 3 points per team for duet/group events

2. WINNERS:

Flagship Events:
25 points per team for First Position 20 points per team for Second Position

Other Events:
20 points per team for First Position 15 points per team for Second Position

Note: The decision of the judges and the organising committee will be final and binding.
